City of Savannah: Official News, Events & Community Updates

SAVANNAH, GA – The City of Savannah’s Recreation and Leisure Services Department has announced schedule adjustments and closures for Saturday, Jan. 31, due to anticipated impacts from inclement winter weather.

All youth basketball games scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 31 have been postponed. Additionally, to ensure the safety of staff and families, all City of Savannah community centers will close at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 31. Updated schedules and makeup dates will be communicated once confirmed.

In addition, the “K- Pop Warriors Live Show” scheduled at the Ben Tucker Theater inside the Cultural Arts Center will proceed with a revised performance schedule. The first performance originally scheduled for 6:30 p.m. has been rescheduled to begin at 1:30 p.m. Tickets purchased for the original 6:30 p.m. performance will be honored at the updated time. There is no change to the second performance, which remains scheduled for 4 p.m.
