June 28–29, 2025 — It was more than just a pop-up—it was a celebration of bold self-expression, vibrant African-inspired fashion, and the community that makes it all come alive. Hosted in the heart of NYC, the D’IYANU Style, Sip & Shop event brought together fashion lovers, creatives, and loyal fans for two unforgettable days of style, laughter, and connection.

From curated racks bursting with colorful prints to conversations that turned into lasting connections, the event buzzed with excitement. Attendees had the chance to preview and shop the newest summer products.

The Energy Was Real: Guests Showed Up & Showed Out

The pop-up welcomed a beautiful mix of first-time shoppers and longtime supporters, many decked out in their favorite D’Iyanu looks. With bold prints, tailored fits, and a whole lot of personality, everyone looked like they stepped straight off a fashion-forward runway infused with culture.

Smiles and style were in full effect, with racks lined with rich patterns, vivid hues, and standout statement pieces. From breezy dresses and tailored sets to accessories that turned heads, there was no shortage of ways for guests to refresh their summer wardrobe.

Asha Kamilah Brown Brought the Style Heat

One of the weekend’s biggest highlights? A visit from NYC’s own @missashakamilah, the self-proclaimed “Quirky It-Girl” who lives and breathes bold fashion.

With over 100K Instagram followers, Asha’s love for vibrant color and unapologetic style made her the perfect guest for the event. She mingled with attendees, browsed racks, posed for pics, and fully embraced the D’IYANU spirit of dressing boldly.

Her presence added extra star power to an already electric atmosphere. Whether she was snapping selfies, vibing with fans, or styling pieces, Asha proved exactly why she’s become a style icon for so many.

Beyond the Clothes: Culture, Conversation & Community

D’IYANU has always been about more than fashion. It’s about celebrating culture, honoring heritage, and building community. That energy was woven into every moment of the pop-up.

From meaningful conversations between customers and team members to new friendships sparked over shared love for African-inspired design, the event became a vibrant space where identity and expression were celebrated freely.

And of course, it wouldn’t be a D’IYANU event without Addie, the brand’s powerhouse founder, whose story and vision continue to inspire (find more about our story here).
