But Atlanta Chamber of Commerce Chief Economist Dr. Jerry Parrish says two other areas increased. “International migration, and then the net natural increase, which is births minus deaths, make up the other components of population increase,†Parrish reports.

North Oconee Industrial Park’s 135-acre first phase calling for 1.1 million square feet in building space was approved in February 2023 with a rezoning by the Hall County Board of Commissioners.

Staff reports that Baldwin County School District’s Nutrition Department has received a $25,000 donation from the Zaxby’s family, led by the Avants Management Group, to support the district’s elementary school breakfast program.  The donation, made through the newly-established Mustard Seed Trust, marks the first community gift from the fund — and a meaningful return to the roots of the Zaxby’s brand.

Boggs dug into the issue. That panel issued a report this month reviewing the use of AI in Georgia courts and producing a list of eight recommendations intended to maintain public faith in the judicial system as use of the technology expands.
