Key takeaways
  • Naomi Watts was spotted carrying Maison de Sabré’s medium Palais bag during her All’s Fair press tour.
  • Maison de Sabré is a quiet-luxury leather brand also favored by Jennifer Lawrence.
  • Watts pairs the bag with polished officewear, showcasing the brand’s appeal for corporate-chic styling.
  • Her varied work totes—Tory Burch, Simkhai, Maison de Sabré—offer practical inspiration for elevated everyday bags.

Naomi Watts has something to add to the “work tote” conversation we’re all having over here this fall. In fact, while promoting her new Hulu series All’s Fair, Watts has been a one-woman inspo board for corporate chic.

While on the All’s Fair press tour in Brazil on November 11, she was spotted with a splurge-worthy bag from the Australian brand Maison de Sabré. The quiet-luxury brand has already gotten the stamp of approval from Jennifer Lawrence—queen of all things quiet-luxury—so we have a feeling it should be on everybody’s trend watchlist. Previously, we’ve known Maison de Sabré for its luxury phone cases, like the one carried by Lawrence, and its up-market bag charms.

Watts carried Maison de Sabré’s medium Palais bag in black, paired with a chic twist on officewear. Over her white mermaid-style skirt, Watts wore an oversized white dress shirt with a black tie, and finished with T-strap cream-and-black pumps.

But Watts’s Palais bag is just the latest of several chic work totes we’ve seen her wearing over the course of the All’s Fair press tour. Considering how important the fashion is on that show, it’s only right.

In NYC’s Tribeca neighborhood on October 28, she accessorized her more understated blue slacks and salmon jacket with the Tory Burch Romy bucket bag in suede—one of the season’s trendiest fabrics for bags. (It also comes in a larger size, in case you’re toting a tablet or laptop.) On November 3 she wore another suede bag, this time the River shoulder bag in black from celebrity-loved brand Simkhai. The bag perfectly matched the rest of Watts’s black leather ensemble, also from Simhkai.

Obviously, no one is suggesting that everyone needs as many pricey work totes as Naomi Watts seems to own. What we are suggesting is that everyone could use at least one practical and trendy work tote, and that Watts’s enviable collection is a good place to look for inspiration.
