It’s the collab we never knew we needed.
During a recent Savannah Bananas baseball game, the team’s official “Dad Bod Cheer Squad” known as the Man-Nanas, joined forces with the New England Patriots cheerleaders at Gillette Stadium in Massachusetts for a routine that’s been scoring big with fans.
The grand slam of a number has gone viral with nearly four million views on Instagram alone as of Sept. 6, since it was posted just over a day prior. And after seeing it, you’ll understand why.
The video begins with the Patriots cheerleaders, performing to a mashup of several songs including Destiny’s Child’s “Lose My Breath, Missy Elliott’s “Lose Control” and Beyoncé’s “Formation.”
Pretty soon, the Man-Nanas join the fun. And together, the parties crush the routine as the stadium explodes into cheers.
It’s pretty difficult to decide who does it better. As the caption says, it’s “safe to say @the_man_nanas gave the @patriotscheerleaders a run for their money 😉”
The performance was part of the Savannah Bananas’ two-night series against the Loco Beach Coconuts at Gillette Stadium on Aug. 28 and 29.
The team, which has amassed a following for their viral dance numbers and unique spin on the sport, which they call “Banana Ball,” also invited several others for memorable performances during the series including country star Keith Urban. According to the team’s social media accounts, the event was popular, selling out both nights with 130,000 fans.
