Nonprofit Highlight โ€“ Making a Distinction in Our Group:

13 Savannah State College NSF iAPPLY students reached a major milestone by attending and presenting on the 2025 Nationwide Science Basis (NSF) /AAAS Rising Researchers Nationwide Convention (ERN) in Science, Expertise, Engineering, and Arithmetic (STEM).

The distinguished annual convention brings collectively undergraduate and graduate college students, school, and professionals from throughout the nation to have a good time and foster innovation, analysis, and collaboration in STEM fields. With the assist of the NSF iAPPLY program and conferences like ERN, these college students are effectively on their option to making significant contributions to the world of science, know-how, engineering, and arithmetic.โ€

The iAPPLY program (Early Interdisciplinary Utilized Methods to Strengthen STEM Training and Analysis at SSU) is supported by a 2020-2026, $2.25 million grant from the NSF. The presence of the students on the convention represents the collegeโ€™s ongoing efforts to advertise excellence in STEM fields and supply college students with the instruments they want to reach a aggressive international surroundings.
Drs. Chellu Chetty, NSF iAPPLY mission principal investigator, and Dr. Shakespeare, mission co-investigator, led the SSU delegation.

Mr. Alex Piece, mission coordinator, ensures the protected arrival and departure of our college students to and from conferences. We’re all dedicated to advancing college students in scientific fields.โ€
