• USA Celebrates 250 years of the signing of the Declaration of Independence (1776-2026).  Semiquincentennial pronounced: sem-ee-kwin-ten-NEN-ee-ul) & Disability Pride Month – the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) which became law on July 26,1990 & Parents’ Day- Fourth Sunday (26)
• 1–10: Scholarship & Support Committee (S &S) Reviews and Selects 2027 Scholarship Recipients.                                                                                                                                                                                    
• 11-20: Notify All Scholarship Applicants and their Parents | Guardians.
• 21-31: Mail Scholarship Checks to Universities. Mail copies to Parents | Guardians – sslw/org|calendar
• (18),2-4pm,In Person: College Send Off for First-Time & Continuing Scholarship Recipients Only and Mandatory Attendance – sslw.org|calendar & RSVP @ sslw89@gmail.com, July 15.
• Bring THREE hand-written THANK YOU cards for THREE College Send Off Hosts\Partners on July 18.
• USPS Mail thank you to SSLW to be received on or before July 31, 2026 is a scholarship requirement.
