    Groovin’ on the Green kicks off its free summer series on Saturday, June 14 with Band X and opening act Nero Simon and the Sunsetters.

    According to the City of Dunwoody’s website, Band X “is a high-energy group of talented musicians and singers dedicated to providing interactive live entertainment.”

    Nero Simon, according to its website, delivers “smooth, harmony-laced rock with enough groove to make your dad grow a mustache and buy a sailboat.”

    Groovin’ on the Green is a free series held during the summer and through the fall at the Brook Run Park amphitheater on North Peachtree Road. All concerts begin at 6 p.m., are family friendly, and include food and drink concessions. 

    The 2025 lineup includes:

    July 12: Hedonistas with opener After School Special 

    Aug 9: G Clef & The Playlist with opener DieDra Hurdle-Ruff

    Sept 13: Red Not Chili Peppers with opener Run Katie Run 

    Oct 11: Piano Man Vs Rocket Man – A Tribute to Billy Joel and Elton John
