Tamra Judge Calls Out Gretchen Rossi for Living in the Past 8

While Tamra openly expresses frustration with Gretchen’s apparent inability to move beyond old conflicts, it is clear that Gretchen’s commitment to her roots and her unapologetic approach have kept her a memorable figure in the RHOC universe.

On the latest Page Six Virtual Reali-Tea podcast, Tamra did not hold back about how Gretchen seems stuck in a previous era of the show, but fans might wonder if Gretchen’s refusal to change is part of what makes her so compelling and relatable.

After a decade away from the series, Gretchen Rossi has returned as a friend of the cast. However, her comeback has reignited old tensions with RHOC veteran Tamra Judge, with whom she has a well-known feud. Tamra shared her thoughts on what viewers can expect from Gretchen this season during the podcast.

The Vena CBD co-founder humorously criticized Gretchen for seeming to have the same look and approach she had years ago. Tamra said, “I feel like she can’t move forward, she wants to talk about the past. She thinks the show still operates like it did 15 years ago, and it doesn’t. It’s a different show.”

She went on to explain, “Social media is different, the show is different, the way it’s filmed is different, everything’s different now. And she’s just the same person.”

When host Danny Murphy asked Tamra if Gretchen’s hair and outfit choices seemed “out-of-date,” Tamra responded bluntly, “They’re both bad. Yeah, it’s really bad.”

Despite their long history, Tamra revealed that she attempted to start fresh with Gretchen, hoping motherhood might have brought some maturity. Gretchen shares a five-year-old daughter, Skylar, with fiancé Slade Smiley. Tamra recalled, “I tried, I tried. My opening statement to her was, ‘Hey, listen, I’d like to reintroduce myself to you. I am Tamra Judge, and I have no desire to go in the past. You know, we can move forward, and find something new to fight about.’”

Still, Tamra made it clear that if anyone should be angry in their feud, it should be her. She said, “The thing is, if anybody should be mad, it should be me. For 12 years, she is relentless talking about me.”

Fans can look forward to seeing all the drama and dynamics play out on The Real Housewives of Orange County, which airs Thursdays at 9/8 ET on Bravo.
