    Key takeaways
    • Nike will supply uniforms, footwear, apparel, and equipment for student-athletes and coaches across all Tennessee State athletic programs.
    • Mikki Allen says the partnership commits to a first-class experience for student-athletes and strengthens the Tennessee State brand nationally.
    • BSN SPORTS will facilitate part of the partnership, and officially licensed Tennessee State merchandise will be sold online and in stores.

Tennessee State has announced a new multi-year partnership with Nike, making the global sportswear company the official apparel provider for the Tigers.

The agreement will outfit TSU student-athletes and coaches with Nike uniforms, footwear, apparel and equipment across all athletic programs. BSN SPORTS, a leading distributor of sporting goods apparel and equipment, will facilitate a portion of the partnership.

“Nike is one of the most iconic brands in sports, and we are proud to partner with them as we continue to elevate Tennessee State Athletics,” Tigers athletic director Mikki Allen said. “This partnership represents our commitment to providing a first-class experience for our student-athletes while strengthening the visibility and identity of the TSU brand on a national level.”

Under the agreement, Tennessee State teams will train and compete in Nike apparel and equipment designed to support athletic performance while creating a consistent brand identity across all sports programs.

University officials said the partnership also is expected to enhance the visibility of Tennessee State Athletics as the department continues its efforts to expand its national profile.

“Tennessee State University has a rich athletic tradition and a passionate fan base,” Allen said. “We are excited to begin this new era with Nike and BSN SPORTS as we continue building momentum for the future of Tiger Athletics.”

As part of the partnership, officially licensed Tennessee State Nike merchandise and fan apparel will be available through retail stores and online outlets, giving supporters additional access to branded gear.
