Black Athletes within the Highlight: HBCU Sports activities & Native Highlights

Individuals Cory Thiesse and Korey Dropkin clinched a berth within the 2026 Olympic blended doubles curling competitors once they beat Canada 8-4 on the world championships in Fredericton, New Brunswick, on Saturday to earn a fifth-place end that was sufficient for a spot in Milan-Cortina.

“Whereas we’re disenchanted to haven’t completed on the rostrum, we had been past thrilled to make the playoffs and safe our spot on the Olympics!” Thiesse stated. “It’s a dream come true for each of us.”
