Style Spotlight: Looks, Trends & Fashion Inspiration

    Key takeaways
    • Live in breastfeeding-friendly pajama sets and nightgowns: 100% cotton, ruffles or front buttons for easy nursing, cute to help you feel like yourself.
    • Comfort and practicality: plush Hill House Home robes for coverage, soft Skims nursing bras, and trusty slippers for around-the-house ease.
    • Add small touches: cute hair clips, light blue necklace, blue light glasses, and favorite OSEA body oil to feel more like yourself.

TOMORROW is my due date for baby #3, you guys!!! I can hardly believe it. While I’m cherishing this pregnancy as much as I can (since I know it will be my last!), I am SO excited to be able to wear whatever I want to again! While I never really switched over to maternity outfits, I am pretty limited as to what I can wear – almost everything is just so uncomfortable or tight on my stomach. I can’t tell you how pumped I am to wear shorts again!

In the month following delivery, I really just want to be as comfortable as possible (since I’ll be wearing a diaper for at least a few weeks lol). I already know I’ll be living in breastfeeding-friendly outfits and pajamas! Here are the items that are on their way to me right now:

French Connection Pink Seersucker Pajamas // Eye Glasses // Ugg Slippers // Light Blue Necklace // Skims Nursing Bra // Petite Plume White Ruffle Pajama Set // OSEA Body Oil // Pink Hair Clip // Hill House Home White and Pink Robe // Petite Plume Blue Gingham Nightgown // Reformation Floral Nightgown // Nordstrom Eyelet White Nightgown // Ralph Lauren Pink Nightgown

Pajama Sets – I love having a few pairs of girly and cute pajama sets to help balance out the days of unwashed hair, night sweats, and just feeling overall frumpy right after having a baby haha. It’s such a sweet time, don’t get me wrong! I really can’t wait to just sit on the couch and snuggle her, but having been through postpartum two times before, I know it can feel draining. If there’s a way to feel a little more myself, it’s going to be with a cute outfit and I pretty much live in nightgowns and pajama sets the first few weeks of postpartum! This white ruffle set is one of my favorite finds this time around. It’s 100% cotton and the little dot print, ruffles, and front tie make this a very cute postpartum outfit. I’ve never tried this brand for pajamas, but this set was under $65 (and is on sale right now!), so I ordered it and am impressed!

Nightgowns – I live for nightgowns during the postpartum season! They’re easy to throw a robe or sweater on if I’m cold, but they’re also cooling for all those sweaty postpartum nights (IYKYK haha). I love how girly and delicate these are and they’re some of my favorite brands. The blue gingham has such a pretty ruffle detail, honestly I would wear this as a dress because it’s so cute! The floral one actually has buttons, which is so convenient for breastfeeding. The white eyelet one also has front buttons for breastfeeding and it’s 100% cotton. Lastly, you know my love for Polo Ralph Lauren, so this pretty pink stripe was an immediate add to cart.

Robes – I love a good robe, especially in the postpartum season. If you have guests over, it’s the perfect thing to throw on over a nightgown or pajama set to be more covered, but also still be able to breastfeed. I love the Hill House Home robe because it’s so plush, it comes in a few color and pattern options, and you can monogram it. It’s the perfect gift idea for a postpartum mom!

Nursing Bras – I needed a few new nursing bras this time around and got a few of these. They are SO soft and comfortable! Honestly, I’ve been wearing them towards the end of pregnancy because they’re so good.

Slippers – A good pair of slippers to throw on when you’re lounging around the house is always an essential. I’m not the type who only wears slippers when it’s cold! I actually love to have a pair of slippers to wear around the house year round and I needed a new pair from my favorite brand.

Body Oil – I know this isn’t something I’m “wearing” necessarily, but this is my ride or die body oil year round! It usually goes on sale during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, so maybe add this to your wish list!

Cute Accessories – Another thing I like to do in my postpartum era is have a few cute accessories to throw on to feel more like myself. I always have a hair clip close by and this one was too pretty to pass up! I also grabbed one of my favorite necklaces in a new light blue color that I thought would be pretty with some of these pajama looks when I want to feel more like me. Lastly, my blue light glasses are never far from me!

Be back soon HOPEFULLY with some baby news!!!

    xoxo
