Netflix is kicking off June with a strong lineup of Black film, television, and documentary programming. Whether you’re revisiting modern classics or discovering a story for the first time, the month’s additions offer a wide range of viewing options.
Several notable films arrive at the beginning of the month, including the entire Creed trilogy, which helped establish Michael B. Jordan as one of Hollywood’s leading men. Spike Lee’s Inside Man also joins the platform, bringing one of the director’s most successful thrillers back into the spotlight alongside standout performances from Denzel Washington and an ensemble.
Television viewers can revisit Lawmen: Bass Reeves, starring David Oyelowo as the legendary deputy U.S. marshal whose life inspired generations of Western heroes. Jaden Smith’s The Karate Kid remake and Tyler Perry’s The Family That Preys are also among the month’s early arrivals.

Spike Lee’s heist thriller pairs Denzel Washington with Clive Owen in a tense hostage standoff tied to corruption, secrets, and power on Wall Street.
Lawmen: Bass Reeves – (6/1)
