    LOUISVILLE, Ky- The National Fastpitch Coaches Association has revealed the 2026 NFCA Division II All-Region teams. The 2026 squads are comprised of 205 student-athletes from 108 programs.

    The awards honor softball student-athletes from the Association’s eight regions with first and second-team selections. NFCA member head coaches from each respective region nominated their student-athletes and voted for the teams. All the honorees are now eligible for selection to the 2026 NFCA Division II All-America squads.

    Representing Savannah State University on the All-South Team is senior Ansley Hudson.

    Hudson was named to the All-South Second Team as a outfielder.

    A senior from Deltona, Florida, Hudson started 35 of the 39 games she played in this season. She led Savannah State in batting average (.446), at bats (112), runs (41), hits (50), slugging percentage (.616), on-base percentage (.523), strikeouts (2) and stolen bases (34).

    Hudson was second on the team in walks (16), tied for second in doubles (7) and triples (3) and third on the squad in home runs (2).

    In the field, Hudson had a .939 fielding percentage with 42 catches, 37 put outs, three errors and two assists.

    A transfer from University of Montevallo, Hudson earned First Team All-Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference honors in 2026.
