    Black Voices: Info, Society & Location from Throughout the Nation

    The National Battle of the Bands is going back to Houston on Saturday, August 23 rd with a piled schedule of 8 storied HBCU marching bands.

    The event, provided by Pepsi and created by Webber Advertising , will absolutely most likely to NRG Field. The weekend break officially starts Friday, Aug. 2, with programs that highlights entrepreneurship, education and learning, tunes, and civil service.

    Yearly, we plan to elevate bench, “specified Derek Webber , exec producer of the event and chief executive officer of Webber Advertising And Marketing.” This isn’t just a program. It’s a system that honors the songs, the custom, and the impact of HBCUs across the country.”

    This year’s band routine includes:

    Alabama A&M College, Marching Maroon & & White

    Albany State College, Marching Rams Program Band

    Florida A&M College, Marching 100

    Jackson State University, Sonic Boom of the South

    Langston College, Marching Satisfaction Band

    NC A&T State College, Blue and Gold Marching Tool

    Field View A&M College, Marching Tornado

    Texas Southern University, Sea of Spirit
