Black Voices: News, Culture & Community from Across the Nation

Project Pit, a non-profit organization that provides support for various individuals in Los Angeles, held its Maternal Health Summit at the Baldwin Hills Crenshaw Plaza on Saturday, August 16th. The summit featured various vendors, classes and educational advice for mothers and mothers to be. The summit also honored Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Faith Evans and Grammy-nominated singer and actress Halle Bailey for their work with children and families.
