    Savannah, GA – September 25, 2025, Chatham County Sheriff Richard Coleman will host a press conference to announce the official launch of the Sheriff’s Office Human Trafficking Investigation Unit on Thursday, September 25, 2025, at 10:00 AM.

    The new unit is dedicated to identifying, investigating, and disrupting human trafficking operations throughout Chatham County and neighboring jurisdictions. This initiative reflects Sheriff Coleman’s ongoing commitment to protecting vulnerable individuals and aggressively pursuing those who profit from exploitation.
