    3/12/2026 – Chatham Area Transit Authority (CAT) will host a weekly job fair to recruit full-time and part-time Bus Operators, beginning Friday, March 13, from 1 to 4 p.m. at the CAT Central Office, located at 900 E. Gwinnett St.

    The weekly hiring event will provide interested applicants with the opportunity to learn more about career opportunities with CAT, meet with staff, and begin the application process. Representatives from CAT’s Operations team will be available to answer questions about qualifications, training, benefits, and the responsibilities of becoming a CAT Bus Operator.

    CAT has successfully hosted similar hiring events in the past and is continuing the initiative to help connect job seekers with rewarding careers in public transit.

    “Our Bus Operators are frontline heroes who keep our community moving every day,” said Detric Leggett, Chairman of the Board of Directors. “We are always looking for the best individuals to join CAT and serve our community by providing safe, reliable public transportation.”
