    February 11, 2026

I did a blind reaction to this video about Zambia. Now Zambia peaked my interest because I never hear anyone talk about it. The purpose of these videos is to explore Pan Africanism and learn about Africa in as many ways as possible.

The video I reacted to was from a podcast called Bridges to Prosperity on the Awakening with Kelvin Phiri Podcast. He gives insight to a city called Lusaka, the capital city of Zambia.

Meanwhile I was very curious about a tall, brown building with antennas. The building looks amazing. I think one of the things I liked about it was the unique shape of the building. It seemed like it was two buildings in one, but the top part of the building was barely on it, at least that what it seemed like to me.  I was asking the viewers to tell me why this building was the way it was.

Back to the video, I noticed that the Lusaka had a blend of modern and traditional. I noticed this was very similar to most African cities I’ve had the pleasure of reacting to. Now, even though I see a lot of African cities with this blend, they are not all the same. I believe this blend is what makes the individual African city unique and different from each other. Unlike a lot of US cities that have the same corporation feel, these African cities have their own unique personality.

I love cities with unique personalities. I don’t care if it’s a small city in the country or a major city in Nigeria, it’s the uniqueness and it’s personality that attracts me to the cities and it’s locals.

However, I’ll allow you to watch the rest of the video to see my full reaction. I hope you appreciate Lusaka as much as I did.
