    Savannah Chatham County Public School System (SCCPS) Update:

    Savannah-Chatham County Public Schools hosted the annual A Celebration of Excellence ceremony on Tuesday, April 21, 2026.  The event is an invitation-only ceremony and reception to honor the Valedictorian, Salutatorian, and STAR Student for each of the high schools in the Savannah-Chatham County Public School System, along with the International Exchange Students, for the 2025-2026 School Year. 

    The Valedictorian and Salutatorian of each class was awarded academic regalia by the Superintendent of Schools and their school principal. STAR Student recipients and International Exchange Students also received commemorative memorabilia from the Superintendent and their school principal.  The ceremony will took place in the Richard Mole Auditorium at Beach High School in Savannah.
