Savannah Chatham County Public School System (SCCPS) Update:

The 9th Annual Superintendent’s Cup JROTC Competition, held at Windsor Forest High School, was a resounding success. On Saturday, April 11, 2026, cadets from across the district demonstrated exceptional dedication, discipline, and teamwork while competing in a wide range of events, including academics, color guard, squad drill, basketball, rifle marksmanship, and the cadet challenge.

SCCPSS high school cadets in the SCCPSS Army, Navy, and Air Force JROTC programs from throughout the district competed in the skills tests and an award ceremony where Windsor Forest High School’s JROTC Unit was named the overall winner. The Windsor Forest Knights finished in first place for Rifle Team, Color Guard, and Squad Drill. 

Jenkins High finished in second place overall, with New Hampstead High School finishing third.  Windsor Forest also topped the Top Shot competition among female competitors, with Mischa Connor finishing in First Place.  The male Top Shot is Shawn Michael-Reel, a student at Groves High School.

Congratulations to all participating cadets for proudly representing their schools with excellence.
