    CAYMAN ISLANDS – June 20, 2025

Cayman Airways is raising the bar for onboard refreshments with the official launch of Sir Turtle’s Sky Brew, the Caribbean’s first signature inflight craft beer. Crafted in partnership with the award-winning Cayman Islands Brewery (Caybrew), this custom brew is now available exclusively aboard Cayman Airways’ international jet flights.

This landmark collaboration fuses Caymanian pride, local craftsmanship, and innovation to deliver a bold yet smooth India Pale Ale (IPA) carefully designed to taste its best at 30,000 feet. Brewmasters and airline experts conducted extensive inflight and ground-level tasting sessions to account for the taste-altering effects of altitude and pressure, resulting in a perfectly balanced IPA with a crisp, refreshing finish.

“We are proud to partner with Caybrew on this exciting initiative that not only enhances the in-flight experience, but also furthers our mission to offer a uniquely Caymanian journey from the moment passengers step onboard,” said Paul Tibbetts, Executive VP of Commercial Affairs and CFO at Cayman Airways.

Sky Brew joins the airline’s beloved complimentary Seven Fathoms Rum Punch, further enriching the inflight experience with an authentic taste of Cayman’s flavor and spirit.

Crafted for the Skies, Inspired by the Islands

Caybrew, renowned for its quality brewing and deep local roots, developed Sky Brew to embody the essence of Cayman. From the ingredients to the design, the beer reflects the islands’ vibrant energy and hospitality.

“Sky Brew is a celebration of Cayman’s creativity and community,” said Mark Haring, Brand Manager at Caybrew. “It’s been an honor to work with Cayman Airways on this one-of-a-kind brew that brings a true taste of home to the skies.”

    Now Pouring Onboard

Sir Turtle’s Sky Brew officially launched on May 22, 2025. All adult passengers (18+) on international jet flights will receive one complimentary can of Sky Brew. Additional servings are available for US$6 each.

This exclusive offering marks a new chapter in the Cayman Airways inflight experience, reinforcing the airline’s commitment to celebrating local partnerships and sharing Cayman’s story with the world, one sip at a time.
