Georgia Southern University’s online computer science degree ranked sixth in the nation for affordability

    July 8, 2025

Georgia Southern University’s online Master of Science in Computer Science has been ranked as one of the most affordable online master’s in computer science programs for 2025.

The ranking was published by TechGuide, a source highlighting tech-focused education, based on affordability and quality. Georgia Southern scored sixth out of 25 universities.

Georgia Southern continues to expand its offerings of career-focused, flexible online programs that empower students to learn from anywhere. Online students work with the same professors and receive the same robust support services as those studying on campus, only without the commute.

Georgia Southern University, a public Carnegie Doctoral/R2 institution founded in 1906, offers approximately 155 different degree programs serving more than 27,000 students through 10 colleges on three campuses in Statesboro, Savannah, Hinesville and online instruction. A leader in higher education in southeast Georgia with expert faculty, the University is focused on public impact research and engaging learning opportunities through knowledge and know-how that prepare our students to take ownership of their lives, careers and communities.
