Tennessee State guard Aaron Nkrumah has earned an invitation to the 2026 AWS NBA Draft Combine.

The reigning Ohio Valley Conference Player of the Year has a chance to strengthen his professional resume in front of NBA talent evaluators.

Nkrumah had a magical senior season. He was named the 2025-26 OVC Player of the Year after averaging 17.7 points, 5.5 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 2.8 steals per game while shooting 35.1% from 3-point range.

The annual combine in Chicago brings together many of the nation’s top draft prospects for medical evaluations, athletic testing, interviews and scrimmages. For Nkrumah, the invitation reflects both his production and his rise as one of the most accomplished players in Tennessee State history.

Nkrumah powered the Tigers to one of their best seasons in years, leading the conference in scoring and finishing second nationally in total steals with 92. He also delivered in key moments throughout the season, scoring 20 or more points in 14 games and helping Tennessee State reach its first NCAA Tournament in 32 years.

His breakout senior season marked a major jump from his junior year, when he averaged 10.9 points, 5.3 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game.

That growth made him a central figure in Tennessee State’s backcourt and a player NBA evaluators will now get an even closer look at in Chicago.
