Obituary for Tyrone Hutcherson | Martin’s Funeral Home, LLC

My time has come when I must walk through that valley of the shadows of death and I have found comfort in knowing that I am not alone. God Almighty has walked with me from my birth, throughout my life, and now into the passage of death. A loving and understanding God will never leave us or forsake us.

Tyrone Hutcherson was born on January 10, 1975, to Gertrude and Lloyd Hutcherson in Brunswick, Georgia. He received his formal education at McIntosh County School System in Darien, GA. He furthered his education and later became the owner and entrepreneur of Strictly Business. Tyrone Hutcherson accepted Christ as his Savior at First African Baptist Church at the age of twelve and was united with First African Baptist Church, where he served as an usher.

Tyrone Hutcherson was united in holy matrimony with Tamara Knox on January 30, 2013, in Camden County, GA. Their union was blessed with seven children, Travala, Tyshaun, Tykaysia, Devin, Christopher, Malisa and Demerius.

Tyrone was an adventurous entrepreneur. His outgoing personality created an individual that loved people. He was family-oriented and believed that you can choose your friends but not your family, so love them with all your heart. He loved drag racing, styling and profiling in his Vert. His favorite color was red. He was employed by Strictly Business, a company where he was the owner and operator.

Tyrone Lashawn Hutcherson departed this life on November 10, 2025. He was preceded in death by his father, Lloyd Hutcherson.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Tamara Knox-Hutcherson; seven children, Travala Campbell, Tyshaun Campbell, Tykaysia Campbell, Devin Holmes, Christopher Knox, Malisa Knox and Demerius Coleman; mother, Gertude Hutcherson; seven grandchildren; siblings, Joanne Hicks, Lloyd (Tonya) Hutcherson, Michelle Hutcherson and Angel Sade Walden and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, one godbrother, one godsister and friends.
