    Savannah Chatham County Public School System (SCCPS) Update:

    The Islands High Boys’ Soccer Team won the school’s first ever state championship in any sport Tuesday night. They are also the first public school in Savannah history to win a boys soccer state championship.

    The Sharks accomplished this feat with a 6-0 win over East Hall at Duluth High, four of those goals scored in the first half alone.  The team finished the season with an amazing 22-2 record overall including shut outs in five of their postseason matches.

    Junior Tao Harlan was named the game’s Most Valuable Player. Islands soccer coach Justin Brantley is in his fifth season leading the program.  Congratulations to all!
