Real Estate News & Market Insights:

    Key takeaways
    • Bruce Willis and Demi Moore relocated to Hailey, Idaho, investing in local real estate and helping revitalize the town's cultural venues.
    • Rumer moved back to Idaho with daughter Louetta, describing the relocation as bittersweet after leaving her longtime Los Angeles home.
    • Bruce Willis now lives with full-time caretakers in a single-story home due to aphasia and frontotemporal dementia; Emma Heming called the decision very difficult.

Bruce Willis and Demi Moore‘s youngest daughter, Tallulah, has officially tied the knot with her musician partner, Justin Acee, during an intimate ceremony held near the Idaho property where she and her two sisters grew up.

Tallulah, 32, who got engaged to Acee in December 2024, was joined by a host of famous faces for the idyllic event in Sun Valley, ID, on Aug. 8, with images shared to social media by producer Heather Barry revealing that—in addition to her mother and her sisters, Rumer and Scout—the celebration was also attended by actress Lucy Liu, actor Andrew Garfield, and designer Zac Posen.

“Landman” star Ali Larter, who relocated to Sun Valley during the COVID-19 pandemic and now stars alongside Moore in the hit Taylor Sheridan drama, was also pictured at the wedding.

It is unclear, however, whether Tallulah’s father was able to attend amid his ongoing struggle with aphasia and frontotemporal dementia; the “Die Hard” actor was not seen in photos taken at the event, nor were his second wife, Emma Heming, or their daughters.

Still, the bride’s choice of ceremony location no doubt helped her to feel instantly connected to both of her parents. Tallulah, as well as her two older sisters, who served as bridesmaids, were all raised in the Hailey, ID, area, after their parents made the decision to relocate there from Los Angeles in order to give their kids a more normal life.

Over the years, both Willis and Moore, who split in 1998 and divorced in 2000, have owned multiple properties in and around Hailey, which is located just a 20-minute drive south of the center of Sun Valley.

The duo moved to Idaho in the late 1980s, soon after their eldest daughter, Rumer, 37, was born, with Willis later explaining to “Extra” that he wanted to keep his kids away from the “toxic” nature of L.A.

“Hollywood is or can be a very toxic place,” he shared in a 1995 interview. “And I’m trying to keep that away from my kids as much as I can.”

Moore and Willis purchased a sprawling ranch in the area, which they spent years renovating, before the actor began investing in several commercial properties in Hailey, including a former launderette and a dive bar. According to The Independent, Willis played a significant role in the revitalization of the town—adding a movie theater and a music venue, as well as a thriving local real estate company.

Even after he and Moore separated in the late 1990s, both maintained close ties to the area, investing in their own picturesque properties, although Willis later sold his in the 2000s, offloading a collection of cabins in 2012 for $3.9 million, while he finally managed to sell his own ranch for $5.5 million in 2018.

Moore, however, has continued to maintain a residence in Idaho, where she and her family—including Willis, Heming, and their children—enjoy regular getaways.

Over the years, the actress has shared multiple photos of herself and her loved ones enjoying the scenery of the home, including during the COVID-19 pandemic, when several of her family members hunkered down there.

At the start of 2025, the former couple’s eldest daughter, Rumer, announced that she was following in her parents’ footsteps by relocating to Idaho with her daughter, Louetta, 3, whom she shares with her former partner, Derek Richard Thomas.

Rumer previously opened up about her decision to relocate to Idaho—where she and her sisters were largely raised, away from the glare of the spotlight—explaining in a January 2025 Instagram post that she was “ready for a new adventure.”

However, she confessed that the move was bittersweet, particularly as it meant saying goodbye to her longtime Los Angeles home, where she had lived for close to 14 years.

“This house and I have been through it all. I tore it down to the studs and rebuilt it with my first boyfriend,” she wrote, while sharing a video tour of the property.

“I’ve lived many different lives within these walls, tried on every version of myself (and every hair color imaginable), rearranged furniture more times than I can count, and even redesigned the kitchen before Lou was born.

“It’s been the scene of dance parties, movie nights, backyard antics, arts and crafts, and mind-expanding, belly-aching, tear-streaming mushroom journeys. I’ve felt excruciating heartbreak here and the thrill of new crushes. I’ve cried oceans of happy and sad tears, gotten ready for first dates, had great sex, not so great sex, and everything in between.

“I was pregnant in this house, gave birth in the living room, and for the past two years, I’ve raised my daughter here.

“And now, it feels like the house is finally ready to let me go. So, with the deepest love and gratitude, Lou and I say goodbye to Casablanca and L.A. and set off for a new adventure.”

Meanwhile, Tallulah and her new spouse reside primarily in Los Angeles, where the artist and actress owns a stunning Los Feliz property that she purchased for $3.2 million in 2021.

The dwelling spans close to 3,200 square feet, and offers four bedrooms and four bathrooms—as well as an array of open-plan living spaces, according to a previous description.

Tallulah’s home is located around a 30-minute drive from the Brentwood Park property that her father and his wife, Heming, purchased for $9.8 million in 2019, 10 years after they wed.

That property served as Willis and Heming’s marital abode for several years, however in August 2025, it was revealed that the actor had moved out of the property and was living full time with his caretakers.

During a heartbreaking interview with ABC News’ Diane Sawyer, Heming, 50, who shares two children with Willis, 71, admitted that choosing to relocate her spouse to a single-story property where he can receive round-the-clock care was the “hardest decision” she had to make in his health journey.

“It was one of the hardest decisions that I’ve had to make so far,” she said in the special, entitled “Emma & Bruce Willis: The Unexpected Journey.” “But I knew, first and foremost, Bruce would want that for our daughters. He would want them to be in a home that was more tailored to their needs, not his needs.”

She went on to explain that Willis is now living in a single-story home that is easier for him to navigate—adding that, while she and her daughters do not reside in the property with him, they are there regularly and keep “their things” there.

Heming also noted that Willis’ former spouse is a regular visitor to the property, as well as their three daughters.

“It’s our second home, so the girls have their things there,” she continued. “It is a house that is filled with love and warmth and care and laughter. It’s been beautiful to see that—to see how many of Bruce’s friends continue to show up for him. They bring in life and fun.”
