TYRONE, GA – The Miss Fayette County and Miss Coweta County Scholarship Organizations are proud to recognize the achievements of their 2025 titleholders following a standout week at the Miss Georgia Competition.

Miss Fayette County, Dominique Verville, a preliminary talent winner, earned a coveted spot in the Top 15, continuing the program’s strong record of placements at the state level. The organization is proud to continue their long-standing tradition of preparing poised, impactful women who compete with heart and excellence.

Representing Coweta County, Miss Coweta County, Abby Calloway, made an unforgettable mark on the Miss Georgia stage, receiving three incredible honors:

  • The Non-Finalist Interview Award and Scholarship
  • The Quality of Life Award, a prestigious recognition presented by the Miss America Opportunity
  • And a brand-new award created to honor one delegate whose heart, character, and presence rose above, awarded exclusively to Abby.

The organization also celebrates their teen titleholder, Miss Coweta County’s Teen, Journey Whorton, who represented Coweta County with poise and personality in her first-ever teen pageant. We are deeply proud of her courage and commitment.

“These young women didn’t just compete, they connected, uplifted, and led with purpose,” said Catina Burrell, Director of Operations & Business Development. “Dominique, Abby, and Journey exemplify what it means to represent your community with integrity, and we are so proud of the legacy they’re building.”

Gina McKinney, Executive Director, added:

“I’ve seen many seasons of this program, and this year was something truly special. These young women showed us the power of resilience and reminded us all what scholarship, service, style, and success truly look like.”

Under the leadership of Gina McKinney, Catina Burrell, & A’Leah Burrell, the Miss Fayette and Coweta County pageants are excited to continue growing, mentoring, and empowering the next generation of titleholders.

The 2025 Miss Fayette County Scholarship Pageant is tentatively scheduled for August 2025 in Tyrone, Georgia. Young women interested in competing are encouraged visit our website: www.missfayettecounty.org and follow @MissFayetteCountyOrg on social media for official updates and application information.
