The Gwinnett County Animal Shelter is at critical capacity and may be forced to euthanize dogs for space, according to a post on Facebook.

    🚨 We’re at Critical Capacity 🚨

Our shelter is full…We are doing everything we can, but we simply have no more space for dogs.

Here are some of our pups that have been waiting for months, still hoping their forever family walks through the door. They’re sweet, resilient, and so deserving, but we need your help to give them that chance.

❤️ Here’s how you can make a difference TODAY:

Adopt – Open your heart and home to a pet in need.
Foster – Even a few days can give an animal a break and open up space.
Share – Help us reach someone who’s ready to help.

We love each animal in our care, and we’re committed to finding them homes, but right now, we can’t do it alone.

❤️ Right now, all adoption fees are being waived and come with spaying/neutering, microchipping, certain vaccinations, and heartworm treatment if required! It’s a wonderful opportunity to bring a new furry companion into your home!

Cha Cha (Pen 192) is a ten-month old, 51-pound female Basset Hound and Terrier mix puppy who is available for adoption from the Gwinnett County Animal Shelter in Lawrenceville, GA.

Pen 221c is a year-old, 10-pound female Chihuahua mix who is available for adoption from the Gwinnett County Animal Shelter in Lawrenceville, GA.

Jarvis (Pen 209) is a ten-month old, 36-pound male Boxer mix puppy who is available for adoption from the Gwinnett County Animal Shelter in Lawrenceville, GA.

Axel (Pen 135) is a two year old, 69-pound male Terrier mix who is available for adoption from the Gwinnett County Animal Shelter in Lawrenceville, GA.
