Style Spotlight: Looks, Trends & Fashion Inspiration

    Key takeaways
    • Favor lighter coverage, glowy skin, and a quick routine for spring and summer, using easy, reliable products you can apply in minutes.
    • Use Illume Tanning Water spray self-tanner, buildable and mess-free, perfect when skipping foundation for natural summer skin.
    • Mix Nars Light Reflecting Foundation in Vanuatu and Lancôme Teint Idole in 250W with the Hourglass Foundation Brush.
    • Skip under-eye concealer; avoiding too-light shades prevents unnatural photos and keeps the look fresh and natural.
    • Finishing must-haves: Benefit Hoola bronzer, Nars Afterglow Liquid Blush in Orgasm, L'Oreal Lash Paradise Primer, and Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara.

Good morning everyone! I always love reading about other people’s everyday makeup routines, so I thought it was time to update mine again. My routine has changed quite a bit since the last time I shared it, and I’ve found a few new products that I truly reach for every single day.

As we head into spring and summer, I’ve been gravitating toward lighter coverage, glowy skin, and fresh shades that feel bright and natural this time of year. Most days I’m doing my makeup pretty quickly (especially with two little ones running around!), so everything I use has to be easy, reliable, and something I can apply in just a few minutes. I also filmed a GRWM video showing this entire everyday makeup routine, and it takes me less than 7 minutes!

Today I’m sharing my current everyday makeup routine, including the exact products I use daily, the shades I love for spring and summer, and a few tried-and-true favorites that I’ve repurchased over and over again. These are the products that help me feel put together without spending a lot of time getting ready!!

Products in My Everyday Makeup Routine:

    Face Self-Tanner: Illume Tanning Water

Foundation: Nars Light Reflecting Foundation in “Vanuatu” and Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra Wear Natural Matte Foundation in “250W” applied with the Hourglass Foundation Brush

Setting Powder: Hourglass Veil Translucent Setting Powder in “Translucent”

Bronzer: Benefit Hoola Matte Bronzing Powder in “Original”

Blush: Nars Afterglow Liquid Blush in “Orgasm”

Eyebrows: Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade Waterproof Brow Color in “Soft Brown” applied with the #7B Duo Brush

Mascara: L’Oreal Lash Paradise Primer Base and Too Faced Better than Sex Volumizing & Lengthening Mascara

Lip Color: MAC Lip Liner Pencil in “Whirl” and Tom Ford Runway Matte Lipstick Color in “N2 Dolce”

Keep scrolling to read details about each product!

I just started using this product after my mom introduced me to it and I am OBSESSED!!! It’s a spray, so it’s really easy to apply and I don’t have to worry about my hands getting orange from rubbing it in. I also love that it’s buildable so the longer you use it, the darker you will be. Here is a side-by-side picture of me using it after two applications. Isn’t that crazy?!! It’s my new favorite product for summer, especially when I don’t want to wear foundation and just be in my natural skin!!

I’ve been using two different shades of foundation (this one in “Vanuatu” and this one in “250W”) to mix and match and make my perfect shade. The reason I like mixing two shades is because my skin tone varies a lot from week to week depending on whether or not I’ve used self-tanner, and the combination of both shades really helps me achieve the perfect color. Both of these foundations are the best on the market (in my opinion) – it stays put ALL DAY even in the heat and never looks cakey. I use this foundation brush to apply and it really helps to get that airbrushed look!

None! I stopped using under-eye concealer a while ago. I used to wear it in a shade that was too light and it looked like a raccoon in photos! Now I just skip this step altogether.

This bronzer will FOREVER be my favorite – I think I’ve used it for more than ten years now and I have no plans on stopping! The brush it comes with makes it really easy to apply – I put it down the sides of my nose, underneath my cheekbones and around my hairline to create some dimension.

I have been loving the liquid stain for blush instead of powder. I find that it lasts longer and blends better! This color is also perfect for spring and summer because it’s the prettiest shade of pink, and has the tiniest bit of highlighter-like shimmer to it.

I have used this mascara for over eight years now and still really love it!! I’ve tried other ones and always come back to this! I always apply this primer base beforehand because it really helps to thicken and lengthen my lashes before mascara.

I have kept my eyebrow routine the same for a while now. I use Anastasia brow pomade (in the shade “soft brown”) with this brush to fill in my brows. I would love for my eyebrows to be a little thicker on their own. I actually used to have thick eyebrows as a child, but then college came along as well as the trend of having pencil-thin eyebrows. I wish I could go back and slap my college self for over-tweezing, lol!

In the summer, a finishing powder is essential for preventing shine! I use this one and really like it!

I’ve been loving this combo of this lip pencil in “Whirl” and this lip color in “N2 Dolce”. I’m also a huge fan of the Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk. As we get closer into summer, I might swap the color for something lighter, but for now, I love the dimension and color these products give me!

That’s it! This routine has been my go-to lately because it’s quick, natural, and lasts all day. I’ll keep updating this post whenever I find new makeup products I love, so feel free to bookmark it if you’re looking for everyday beauty favorites! Let me know if you have any questions! xoxo
