Real Estate News & Market Insights:

    Key takeaways
    • CENTURY 21 Cityside honored by Easterseals Massachusetts for championing inclusion and expanding opportunities for people with disabilities.
    • Fernando Semiao received the Easterseals NJ Good Samaritan Award for long-term advocacy and significant fundraising support.
    • Jim D’Amico awarded the Northeast Association of REALTORS® Good Neighbor Award for creating sober living spaces and leading disaster relief efforts.
    • IWOG impact highlights the network’s sustained generosity, long-term partnership with Easterseals, and commitment to community service.

Each year, as we mark the CENTURY 21® brand anniversary, we also celebrate something even more meaningful—our commitment to giving back. What began as a single day of service has grown into a powerful tradition: International Week of Giving (IWOG). Now in its fourth year, IWOG has become a cornerstone of brand culture, a time when the network unites to uplift communities, support causes that matter, and lead with heart.

This year, we’re proud to spotlight some extraordinary examples of that spirit in action .as our franchise leaders are recognized for their tireless commitment to improving lives across their communities:

CENTURY 21 Cityside Honored by Easterseals Massachusetts

On March 28, 2025, CENTURY 21 Cityside was recognized as one of three honorees at the Easterseals Massachusetts Empowerment Celebration, held at the Microsoft NERD Center in Cambridge, MA. This annual event honors leaders who have made a lasting impact on the disability community by championing inclusion and equal opportunity.

The Team Hoyt Award was presented to CENTURY 21 Cityside and the Bray family for their decade-long dedication to Easterseals’ mission. With Collin Bray serving as Vice-Chair of the State Board of Directors, the Bray family has been instrumental in expanding access to life-changing programs and advocating for individuals with disabilities to live, learn, work, and play with dignity and independence.

Their recognition is a testament to what happens when business and purpose walk hand in hand.

Fernando Semiao Receives the Easterseals NJ Good Samaritan Award

As part of its annual recognition of community champions, Easterseals New Jersey presented the Good Samaritan Award to Fernando Semiao, Broker/Owner of CENTURY 21 Semiao & Associates in Lyndhurst, NJ. This award honors individuals who demonstrate exceptional commitment to improving the lives of people with disabilities.

A part of the C21 brand for nearly 30 years, CENTURY 21 Semiao & Associates has been a long-standing supporter of Easterseals NJ helping to expand access to vital services for nearly 9,000 individuals across the state. His advocacy and generosity have empowered children and adults with disabilities to live more independently and participate fully in their communities. From charity events to company-wide fundraising drives, the brokerage has raised more than $130,000 for Easterseals NJ throughout its decades long commitment. The Good Samaritan Award is a reflection of Fernando’s belief that everyone deserves the opportunity to thrive—and his actions continue to make that vision a reality.

Jim D’Amico Receives the Northeast Association of REALTORS® Good Neighbor Award

In recognition of his dedication to community service, CENTURY 21 Integra Broker Owner Jim D’Amico has been awarded the Good Neighbor Award by the Northeast Association of REALTORS®. This prestigious honor celebrates REALTORS® who go above and beyond in service to their communities. Jim was recognized for his humanitarian work in creating sober living spaces—safe, supportive environments for men rebuilding their lives. His leadership reminds us that real estate is about more than property—it’s about people, second chances, and building a better future for all.

Earlier this month, after catastrophic flooding struck Texas’s Hill Country, Jim D’Amico transformed CENTURY 21 Integra’s local offices into supply hubs, mobilizing agents to collect and distribute essentials. Within a day of launching a fundraiser through his nonprofit Fresh Start, he raised $5,000, pledged a $25,000 match, and set a goal of $100,000—all going directly to those affected. Jim’s actions continue to show that being a good neighbor means showing up—especially when it matters most.

    Giving Is Who We Are

These recognitions aren’t just accolades—they’re reflections of our values. They show the world what we already know: our network leads with generosity, compassion, and purpose.

For 46 years, the CENTURY 21 System has stood behind Easterseals’ mission to uplift individuals with disabilities. With $141 million raised to date, the C21 network continues to lead with purpose.

As we celebrate another year of IWOG, we’re reminded that giving isn’t just something we do—it’s who we are. Join us in making a difference: easterseals.com/c21giving
