The Legacy of Life
Mr. Lindsey Roundtree
December 09, 1967 – June 15, 2025
“Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.”
St. John 14:1-3
MR. LINDSEY ROUNDTREE, 57, was born the son of the late Mr. Johnnie and Mrs. Adele Farmer Roundtree on December 09, 1967, in Augusta, GA.
Lindsey attended the public school system of Screven County. Lindsey was a jack of all trades. There was really nothing that he could not do. He loved to fix things and work outdoors. He loved his bicycle, and he loved to ride around town. He was well known in the Sylvania community. Whenever you saw Lindsey, he had a towel, a hat on his head, and a bottle of water. During the time he was doing his radiation and chemo, he took a bag with water and had a towel and a homemade hat.
On Sunday morning June 15, 2025, Mr. Lindsey Roundtree received his wings to ascend into eternity at the Optim Medical Center of Sylvania, GA, following an extended illness.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Johnnie and Adele Farmer Roundtree, his two brothers Randy Farmer and Johnnie Roundtree, Jr.
He leaves to cherish his most precious memories (3) Sisters: Darrie Barnes, Jelma (Roger) Simon, and Denise Roundtree; (2) Brothers: Emmett and Lavell Roundtree all of Sylvania, GA; three people that he held dear to his heart: Kat Gibbons, Charles Gibbons (Junebug), and Cassandra Bangs along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and sorrowing friends.
