More than a dozen SCCPSS Elementary-level students proudly represented their individual schools and SCCPSS at the Georgia College State Science & Engineering Fair earlier this month. The Fair was held at the Centennial Center on Georgia College & State University’s campus on March 12, 2026.
These students had first competed and advanced among their peers at the Regional Science and Engineering Fair (RSEF) before moving on to the state-level competition. Projects were set up the day before the event, and students arrived ready on March 12th for scheduled interviews. During the judging process, students stood at their assigned tables and presented their projects to judges, explaining their research, procedures, and findings. Each project team was interviewed once at a designated time by a panel of two to four judges who evaluated the projects within specific scientific categories.
Below are the names of the students along with the categories in which they were recognized.
