For the second time this season Savannah State sophomore pitcher Austin McCormack has earned this week’s SIAC Pitcher of the Week Award.

McCormack, a native of Land O’Lakes, Florida, led Savannah State to a 20-4 road win over Lane in their series opening contest on April 24th, tossing a seven-inning complete game with eight strikeouts while allowing four hits and two earned runs. The left-hander controlled the game throughout and improved to and impressive 7-2 record on the season.
