City of Savannah Invites Community to Vote on Name for New Signature Playground at Daffin Park
SAVANNAH — The City of Savannah is inviting residents to help select the official name of the new, signature playground at Savannah’s Daffin Park as part of “Let’s Play, Savannah!”
After receiving multiple submissions from Savannah-area students and families, three names have been chosen as finalists for public voting:
• KIDZ CORNER
• PLAYLANDIA
• FUNLY PARK
The community is encouraged to cast a vote online through the City’s official “Let’s Play, Savannah!” landing page or via the City of Savannah’s social media platforms. The winning name and contest winner will be announced during an upcoming ribbon cutting ceremony.
The “Let’s Play, Savannah!” playground naming campaign was created to encourage community participation, especially among local youth, in helping to shape one of the City’s newest, ADA-compliant, recreational spaces. The new playground is part of the City’s broader Recreation Reimagined Initiative, an ongoing effort to enhance parks, playgrounds, and recreational spaces throughout Savannah, more effectively serving residents and families.
