Savannah State University College of Business Administration Extends Prestigious AACSB Accreditation

Savannah State University (SSU) is proud to announce that its College of Business Administration has successfully extended its accreditation by AACSB International (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business), reaffirming its commitment to delivering a world-class business education.

AACSB accreditation is recognized globally as the highest standard of excellence in business education. Fewer than six percent of business schools worldwide have earned this distinction, placing Savannah State among an elite group of institutions dedicated to academic excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.

The accreditation extension follows a comprehensive peer-review process that evaluates strategic management, faculty qualifications, research, curriculum, student learning, and engagement with the business community. Maintaining AACSB accreditation reflects the College of Business Administration’s continued commitment to preparing graduates who are equipped to lead in an increasingly dynamic global economy.

AACSB currently accredits more than 1,000 institutions in more than 70 countries and territories. Accredited schools demonstrate excellence in teaching, research, curriculum development, learner success, and strategic innovation.

The Savannah State University College of Business Administration offers undergraduate and graduate programs that prepare students for careers in business, entrepreneurship, public service, and industry leadership. SSU’s College of Business Administration offers a fully online Bachelor’s of Business Administration and Master’s of Business Administration. Additionally, the College offers concentrations in accounting, computer information systems with a logistics and supply chain management focus, management, and marketing. Savannah State also has the distinction of being the only public HBCU in Georgia accredited by AACSB.
