Savannah Chatham County Public School System (SCCPS) Update:

Key takeaways
  • Electronic Federal Impact Aid survey link/QR will be emailed to qualifying parents on December 10, 2025.
  • Survey window remains open through January 4, 2026.
  • All schools except Pulaski Elementary will use the emailed electronic survey.
  • Pulaski Elementary will use a paper-based form due to qualifying parent numbers.
  • Parents can request a paper form from their school’s information specialist if preferred.

SCCPSS will be collecting Federal Impact Aid surveys electronically again this year.  Impact Aid is a federal formula grant program designed to assist local school districts that have lost property tax revenue due to the presence of tax-exempt federal property. The school system uses the information on these surveys/forms to determine eligibility for certain federal funding.

Flyer photo states that a Federal Impact Aid Survey is coming soon.

A link/QR code to the survey will be emailed to the parents who are in our Student Information System (SIS) as being a parent or guardian in the military or who work on federal property. The link will be emailed on Wednesday, December 10, 2025. The survey will be open through Sunday, January 4, 2026.

Please note: All schools except Pulaski will collect the surveys electronically via the link emailed directly to parents. Pulaski Elementary has opted to use a paper-based form due to the number of qualifying parents.

We urge our parents to complete the survey as this forms the basis for payment to our school district of federal funds under the Impact Aid Program. Parents who prefer a paper form can obtain one by contacting their school’s information specialist.
