“So now the season begins, and you’ve got Shedeur on the bench, and your workforce is already [expletive]—that’s why you drafted early—and also you’re dropping 3 or 4 video games in a row. And now everyone’s like, yo, put Shedeur in, proper? However now the coach is on the new seat. Tony Rock reveals textual content from Stephen A. Smith

“We obtained Shedeur in right here. Deion goes to return in and produce a lot extra—followers, a lot extra eyes, a lot extra money. So that you realistically, when you’re a coach and also you drafted Shedeur within the first spherical, you might be drafting your successor. Yeah, you might be drafting the man that’s going to take your job. I informed my brother [Chris Rock] that, ” he continued.

Tony Rock then went on to say that his brother Chris obtained a textual content from Stephen A. Smith of ESPN about two hours later. In line with him, Smith agreed with Rock within the textual content message.

If you happen to’re an NFL head coach, drafting Shedeur meant you had been greater than possible additionally drafting your substitute in Deion. If [Mike] Tomlin’s Steelers draft him and so they don’t win the Tremendous Bowl, Deion will instantly be the coach subsequent 12 months,” the textual content message learn in keeping with Rock.
