Free People opened a new boutique in Savannah, Georgia on Friday, as the women’s lifestyle brand continues to target growing markets across the United States.
Located at 320 W Broughton Street, the 3,299-square-foot store houses Free People’s assortment of women’s apparel and accessories, including denim, knitwear, dresses and seasonal collections, alongside jewelry, handbags and hair accessories.
The Savannah location also offers personalized shopping services through one-on-one styling appointments with in-store stylists, further supporting the brand’s experiential retail strategy.
Designed to complement the area’s historic architecture, the two-story boutique incorporates warm wood detailing and preserved architectural elements intended to create a more intimate shopping environment. The space includes six curtained fitting rooms featuring backlit metal mirrors, custom drapery and antique-inspired hardware finishes.
Additional design elements include three cashwrap stations topped with Corian Sandstorm stone and accented with copper pendant lighting.
Earlier this year, Free People, which is owned by Philadelphia-based retail giant Urban Outfitters Inc, opened a new store in Edinburgh, becoming its first store in Scotland.
Urban Outfitters saw full-year sales increase 11.1% to a record $6.17 billion, on the back of double-digit growth sales in the fourth quarter.
