Buddy Carter, R-1, an announced candidate for the U.S. Senate in 2026, is giving up his chairmanship of a House subcommittee. “I am stepping down as chairman of the Energy and Commerce Committee’s Subcommittee on Health,” Carter wrote in a letter earlier this week to U.S. Rep.
