Robert William“Bill”Weaver Sr, 70, of Hinesville, GA, passed away on September 22, 2025. Bill was born on September 10, 1955, to the late John Leroy Weaver and the late Mary Louise McCardle in Lewistown, PA. Bill received his GED and soon after joined the Army. He had hopes of following his brother to Vietnam fighting for his county. In 1984, Bill married Angelika Krause in Fulda, Germany. Bill and Angelika went on to having 6 children in a blended family, Tabatha, Mike, Michelle, Robert William Jr., Marina, and John. In 1991, Bill medically retired and spent his time collecting numerous items. He was known around the community for his generous acts of kindness. He never met a stranger. Bill was preceded by several family members and friends. Bill is survived by his wife, Angelika, of 41 years, his children, along with their spouses/partners, grandchildren, great grandchildren, siblings, and host of relatives. Services will be held at Midway First Presbyterian Church on September 26, 2025, at 12:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to The Children’s Miracle Network or a local Shriner’s Hospital, which both organizations Bill felt strongly about.
