    CAT to Suspend Services and Close Offices for the Christmas Holiday – Chatham Area Transit (CAT)

    Chatham Area Transit (CAT) Update:

    12/18/2025 – Chatham Area Transit Authority (CAT) offices will be closed, and all operations will be suspended on Thursday, December 25, due to the Christmas holiday.

    Services impacted include all Fixed-Route Buses, Mobility, and the Savannah Belles Ferry.

    CAT’s ticket window at 610 West Oglethorpe Avenue and the customer service call center will be closed, and customer service representatives will not be available to provide schedule information.

    The CAT Mobility office will also be closed on Thursday, Dec. 25; however, customers may call (912) 351-5266 to leave a message to schedule their reservations for Friday, Dec. 26, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Riders can also schedule an appointment online.

    All paratransit reservations, including online reservations for Friday, Dec. 26, must be made by Wednesday, Dec. 24, at 4 p.m.

    Fixed-Route Buses, Mobility Services, Ferry Services, and Customer Services will resume regular operations on Friday, Dec. 26.

    Administrative offices will be closed on Wednesday Dec. 24, and Thursday, Dec. 25. Administrative offices will return to normal operations on Friday, Dec.26.
