1/30/2026 – Chatham Area Transit Authority (CAT) will suspend all operations beginning at 10 a.m. on Saturday, January 31, as a safety precaution due to projected dangerous winter weather in the service area. Service for Sunday, February 1, will be determined based on road conditions.
Affected services include Fixed-Route, CAT Mobility Paratransit, Savannah Belles Ferry, the DOT Shuttle, and the Call Center/Ticket Window.
CAT Mobility Paratransit riders will receive a phone call regarding their scheduled trips for Saturday and Sunday. Riders may continue to make reservations by calling 912-351-5266 or through the online reservation platform.
All administrative offices are closed on weekends.
Service updates will be shared through CAT’s text alert system, social media channels, and website. To subscribe to text alerts, riders can text RIDECAT to 41411.
