Savannah State Update:

Key takeaways
  • MySSU consolidates campus resources into a secure mobile hub, improving communication and letting students access schedules, grades, and events on the go.
  • Launch marks a milestone in #TheUproar2030, advancing Savannah State University's focus on student success and infrastructure innovation.
  • Available now in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, praised by CIO Gray Miller and SGA President Zaylen Gates.

Savannah State University is proud to announce the launch of MYSSU, a comprehensive mobile application designed to streamline campus life and put vital academic resources directly into the hands of students.

Available now for both iOS and Android platforms, MySSU serves as a digital hub where students can navigate campus information, access real-time academic records, view class schedules, and stay updated on university events. This launch represents a significant milestone in # TheUproar2030, the university’s strategic plan, which prioritizes student success and infrastructure innovation by fostering a more connected and accessible campus environment.

“The MySSU app brings a new level of accessibility and seamless connection to the essential services our students rely on every day,” said Gray Miller, SSU Chief Information Officer. “This is the latest example of how SSU is leveraging technology to build a modern, responsive campus that meets the needs of today’s digital-first students.”

By consolidating campus resources into a single, secure interface, MySSU improves institutional communication and encourages deeper student engagement. Whether checking grades between classes or finding the location of a campus event, students can now manage their entire SSU experience from their personal devices.

“The launch of MySSU is a major win for the student body, said Zaylen Gates, SSU Student Government Association President. “Having our schedules, campus events, and academic resources available at our fingertips makes navigating university life so much simpler. It’s a great example of how the university is listening to our needs and finding modern ways to keep us connected and informed.”

The app is currently available for download in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
