Gwinnett County Public Schools (GCPS) invites all members of the community to come “Book it for the Bus” on Saturday, October 31, 2026, at the J. Alvin Wilbanks Instructional Support Center (ISC). This Book Mobile 5K and Fun Run will raise funds to purchase new books for the Book Mobile program, putting books in students’ hands.
Time:
7:30 a.m. – Packet Pick-Up and Registration
8:30 a.m. – 5K starts
9:30 a.m. – Fun Run begins
Price:
5K – $35 through October 16
Fun Run – $18 through October 16
Virtual 5K – $40; registration ends October 23
Family Discount – (4+ registrants) $5.00 discount per registrant
Large Group Registration – (15+ registrants) $15.00 discount per registrant

Registered participants have two options for getting the race day t-shirt and bib:
Optional packet pick-up Thursday, October 29 from 4:30 – 6:30 p.m. at the Instructional Support Center, 437 Old Peachtree Road NW, Suwanee.
Pick up at Check-In table on race day beginning at 7:30 a.m.
In addition to the 5K, the event will feature music, door prizes, awards, and snacks. Family friendly costumes are encouraged, and leashed dogs and strollers are welcome.
End-of-race raffle prizes will be drawn for 5K runners and Chick-fil-A biscuits will be sold for $5 with proceeds benefiting the Book Mobile program. All participants under the age of 18 may choose a book from the Book Mobile.
