September 10, 2026 – Join Loop It Up Savannah on Monday, Sept. 28, and “tee up for a cause” at the  Loop It Up Cup, where every drive down the fairway will help fund creative learning opportunities and enrichment programs for over 11,000 local students.

The local nonprofit’s third annual golf tournament will be at the renowned Savannah Quarters Country Club in Pooler. Team and sponsorship registration is open now through Friday, Sept. 18.

“We’re thrilled to bring back the Loop It Up Cup for its third year! This fall we are excited to welcome our players to the beautiful golf course at Savannah Quarters in Pooler,” said Loop It Up founder and Executive Director Molly Lieberman. “In addition to enjoying a day on the green, this event gives the community a timely way to support Loop It Up’s programs as we kick off the 2026-27 school year and prepare to serve over 11,000 students through our literacy, school garden and mindfulness programs, as well as through our school uniform and hygiene closets.”

The format for the day will be Four-Person Scramble with opportunities to purchase mulligans. Each entry includes green and cart fees, a light breakfast, a drink ticket, lunch, a player gift and the chance to win prizes.

“This tournament is about so much more than a day on the golf course – it’s about investing in the potential of our community’s youth,” said local attorney and Loop It Up Board President Zachary Thomas. “We’re incredibly grateful to the golfers, sponsors and volunteers who are coming together to make a lasting difference.”

Loop It Up Savannah has been providing creative learning opportunities to Savannah-area students for over 10 years. The organization currently provides school garden support to 44 schools, weekly literacy programs to over 1,000 pre-k and kindergarten students and mindfulness programming at 24 schools. And in 2025, Loop It Up began its Stuff the Closet program, which helps provide school uniforms and hygiene products for local public school students.

“We are so grateful to our sponsors who pour essential resources into our community and create amazing experiences for the children who we are proud to serve,” Lieberman said. “We are also grateful for the  players who bring this event to life year after year. We can’t wait to see you all on Sept. 28.”

Sponsors for this year’s Loop It Up Cup thus far include Pintail Site Preparation, ServPro of Savannah, Evans General Contractors, JDR Construction and Design, Earthmark Landscape, Sandpiper Supply, Low Country Custom Built Homes, Q105.3, Daniel Reed Hospitality, Zachary H. Thomas Law and Southstate Bank.
