City of Savannah Urges RAVE Alert Sign-Ups as Hurricane Season Begins
SAVANNAH — Stay updated. Stay prepared. That’s the message the City of Savannah is urging residents to keep in mind as hurricane season, which is June 1 – November 30, begins.
This link connects residents to the Smart911 Web Portal to enroll in RAVE Alert, the City of Savannah emergency communications system. Upon registering contact information, residents will be notified during an emergency or official outreach. Specifically, City of Savannah emergency notifications will be phoned, emailed, and/or texted directly to enrollees immediately upon being issued. Receiving critical information as soon as possible is key to becoming Savannah Prepared!
While the National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) predicts a below-normal 2026 Atlantic hurricane season, City officials strongly encourage everyone to prioritize this real-time notification system by signing up now.
First time users should click the “Sign Up Now!” button, complete the online registration form, and provide an email address to receive alerts. Returning users who need to update contact information must sign in with a previously used email address and password.
