    CAT To Operate On A Holiday Schedule For Juneteenth Day – Chatham Area Transit (CAT)

    Chatham Area Transit (CAT) Update:

    6/16/2026 – Chatham Area Transit Authority (CAT) will operate on a holiday schedule on Friday, June 19, in observance of Juneteenth Day.

    The holiday schedule will apply to all fixed-route buses and CAT Mobility will operate until 10 p.m. to mirror the fixed-route schedule. Please note that this will affect the frequency and timing of all service trips. 

    Paratransit riders can still make reservations on June 19.

    The DOT will run from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., and the Savannah Belles Ferry will operate on its current schedule from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. CAT Connect will run on its regular scheduled hours.

    Customer service can also be reached from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. by calling (912) 233-5767.
