The City of Pooler welcomes students passionate concerning their community and offering others to make an application for the Pooler Young People Council. This leadership program is made for high school pupils that wish to make a positive influence and get involved in their neighborhood. Pooler Young people Council will certainly provide participants direct experience in local government and public service. Participants will certainly share ideas, gain from city leaders, take part in community efforts, and develop abilities that prepare them for future leadership chances. The program runs September through May, yearly. Participants are called for to attend monthly Pooler Youth Council conferences and City Council meetings, along with choose unique events and an overnight journey to the Georgia State Resources in February.
Applicants need to:
- Be a local of the City of Pooler
- Be in 9 th, 10 th, 11 th, or 12 th quality for the present academic year
- Be dedicated to serving their community
