    Savannah Chatham County Public School System (SCCPS) Update:

    Key takeaways
    • Victor Clinton-Rosario won the Class 1-3A State Championship in the Boys 200 Freestyle.
    • Victor Clinton-Rosario earned a Silver Medal in the Boys 100 Butterfly.
    • Alexandra Mackowiak claimed a Silver Medal in the Class 1-3A Girls 100 Breaststroke.
    • Both student-athletes represented Savannah-Chatham County Public Schools and showcased strong performances at the state meet.

    The 2026 Georgia High School Association Swimming State Championships are being held at the Georgia Tech Aquatic Center this week and Savannah-Chatham County Public Schools had two student-athletes make the podium.

    Victor Clinton-Rosario, a Senior at Jenkins High School, topped the podium as Class 1-3A State Champion in the Boys 200 Freestyle with a time of 1:40:84.

    Victor also took the Silver Medal with a Second place finish in the Boys 100 Butterfly with a 49:20 time.

    Savannah Arts Academy Sophomore Alexandra Mackowiak also earned a Silver Medal in the Class 1-3A Girls 100 Breaststroke with a time of 1:03:97.
